PVAMU Night of Etiquette

Fresh Tech Solutionz Joins PVAMU & Let’s Get Lit for a Night of Etiquette, Mentorship, and Impact

On April 23, 2025, Fresh Tech Solutionz was honored to attend a truly inspiring event—Let’s Get Lit’s Spring 2025 Etiquette Dinner—in collaboration with Prairie View A&M University’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE). Held at Morton’s Grille in The Woodlands, the evening was designed to equip PVAMU students with the etiquette, confidence, and leadership tools necessary to thrive in professional spaces.

Fresh Tech CEO Derrell Noris joined as a C-suite guest, seated among student leaders who had spent the evening prior receiving formal etiquette training on campus. This event was the culmination of their preparation—a chance to put their new skills to the test in a real-world business dinner setting, surrounded by entrepreneurs and executives who genuinely cared about their growth.

From the moment the students walked in, the atmosphere was electric with purpose. As one Let’s Get Lit organizer put it, “Words cannot fully express our sincere appreciation… Your presence made the evening truly special.” It was clear that this wasn’t just dinner—it was a powerful moment of representation, mentorship, and connection. Students asked questions, shared their dreams, and absorbed wisdom from leaders like Derrell who reflected their aspirations.

Derrell, who was invited through a meaningful connection made by Brandy Walker, shared stories about building Fresh Tech Solutionz, the importance of grit in entrepreneurship, and how confidence is built over time—not overnight. His presence, along with other distinguished guests, helped transform what could have been an intimidating experience into a celebration of leadership and ambition.

“Thank you again for being part of this incredible experience,” the Let’s Get Lit team shared in their post-event message. And truly, the feeling is mutual. Events like this highlight why Fresh Tech remains committed to community engagement and mentorship. We don’t just build technology—we build people, possibilities, and pipelines for success.

A special thank you goes to Teddi Payton and the entire Let’s Get Lit team, the PVAMU CIE program, and of course, Brandy Walker, for making this experience possible.

We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to pour into Houston’s future leaders. Until then—Let’s Get Lit, let’s uplift, and let’s keep building the future together.
